This article is great! I'm a high school math teacher in Ottawa, Canada. I've read the Active Inference book and How Emotions Are Made. I believe that predictive processing is a unifying theory that doesn't invalidate other theories but instead explains more phenomena with fewer axioms. I also enjoyed Colin DeYoung's Cybernetic Big 5 Theory.
